In sheer contravention of the Constitution ─ ignoring and disobeying the decisions made by U.S. Justices ─ and starting a ridiculous war with a sovereign nation without consent from the U.S. Congress, a would-be tyrant president has been busy testing the limits of his transgressions.

The absurd, nauseating notion that, in our Constitutional Republic, it is possible for a reckless, audacious tyrant-wannabe to ignore the U.S. Constitution and do as he pleases with our country, its laws, its citizens' lives, freedoms, and well-being ─ with impunity ─ is quite sickening!

Until now, with exception of the civil war sessesionist period, since the existence of our 250-year-old Republic, no tyrant-wannabe has had the colossal nerve to attempt usurping our Constitution.

How in the world is this travesty possible?

In addition, considering the uncertain chaotic situation our beleaguered America is being subjected to, to "keep" our Constitutional Republic, we can no longer rely on the unscrutinized historical knowledge, cognitive ability, experience or intentions of would-be presidents or congressional leaders intent on governing our free, centuries old, nation!

Nor can we rely on the wisdom of everyday Americans inclined to vote for politicians willing to lower their taxes and/or support their personal interests ─ despite the sordid, well-known, corrupt and/or unlawful acts possibly committed by their deceptive candidates.

In fact, having experienced the televised January 6, 2021 Insurrection, because of the "let-bygones-be-bygones" attitude of misguided voters concerned only with their own interests, again, in 2024, they reelected their treacherous, insurrectionist candidate ─ Donald Trump!

The result: the U.S. Government is now being undermined by a would-be tyrant bent on turning our centuries-old Constitutional Republic into his own autocratic "kingdom".

Given the fact that voters generally tend to vote their "pockets", political affiliation, prejudices or countless personal reasons, it would be to their benefit if every available candidate were a scrutinized, capable patriotic American ─ not a deceptive, bombastic blowhard!

Frankly, when a free nation's electoral system intended to let its citizens select its leaders allows an unscrutinized, corrupt, repeatedly-indicted treacherous individual to run for office, it is obvious the system ─ is not working ─ not for our freedoms, our well-being or equality!

Apparently, allowing a proven, treacherous, insurrectionist individual to run for office can only be interpreted as a sheer catastrophic blunder!

Now, due to this blunder, not benefitting every American's health, well-being, economic equality, freedoms and security, the main priorities of the Trump Administration are skewed to benefit wealthy, self-serving plutocrats willing to support their corrupt, unpatriotic, un-American plots.

To minimize the risk of another a la Trump-style catastrophic blunder, therefore, a detailed scrutiny of the education, experience, legal record, character, deception quotient and intended goals of wannabe leaders must obligatorily take place before registering as bona fide candidates.

Otherwise, our Constitutional Republic's endurance will forever depend on the hope that the majority of voters will always have the wisdom to discern the difference between a deceptive politician and a trustworthy, well-intended, pro-American public servant.  Wishful thinking!
